Collection of Student ID Card

Please ensure that a photo meeting the specified requirements is submitted via MyHKMU on or before 21 August 2026. This will ensure that your Student Identity Card can be successfully issued in time for collection. 

You will be notified by email when your Student Identity Card is ready in late August 2026. The details of card collection are as follows:

# If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force at or after 7:00 AM on the event date, the event of Student ID Card Collection will be postponed to 26 August 2026 (Wednesday), at the same time and venue.

Important Notes
  1. Please remember to bring your original HKID Card, PRC ID Card, or Entry Permit for traveling to and from Hong Kong and Macao for identity verification when you collect your Student Identity Card.   
  2. Non-local students holding a student visa must present the original hard copies of both the Landing Slip and the e-Visa issued by the Immigration Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  3. When you collect your Student Identity Card, you will need to complete the eForm for the Receipt Acknowledgement of the Student Identity Card by logging into “MyHKMU” at that time. Therefore, please ensure you activate your ‘MyHKMU’ account beforehand. Instructions are available at https://www.hkmu.edu.hk/ito/student-services/accountpasswordmanagement/.
  4. If you are unable to collect your Student Identity Card on 25 August 2026, you may collect it at Room E-G05 (G/F) in Jockey Club Campus during normal office hours starting from 26 August 2026 onwards. Please make sure you have uploaded your photo via “Photo Submission” in MyHKMU beforehand for card production.
