I am proud to share that HKMU has been gaining growing international recognition. In 2025, we made our debut in the QS World University Rankings, becoming Hong Kong’s first self-financing university and university of applied sciences to be listed. Our momentum continued in 2026, with six subjects ranked by QS, including three in the world’s top 150. These achievements reflect the dedication of our faculty and the quality of education you will receive at HKMU.

In line with the national 15th Five-Year Plan and Hong Kong’s development priorities, HKMU is entering a new phase of growth. We are strengthening our capabilities in teaching, research and innovation to nurture high-calibre talent. Through initiatives such as mandatory AI-related core courses for all undergraduates, industry mentorships and overseas learning opportunities, we are preparing you to be adaptable, innovative and ready for the future.
