Applicants applying to a bilingual or English programme must meet the following English language proficiency requirements if their Bachelor’s Degrees or equivalent qualification did not adopt English as the medium of instruction.

^ Equivalent qualifications to prove an applicant’s language proficiency may be considered on a case-by-case basis; interviews may be conducted if deemed necessary.

An applicant whose previous degree does not use English as the medium of instruction (MOI) should obtain:

TOEFL: minimum acceptable score of 550 (paper-based test) or 79 (internet-based test); or
IELTS: minimum acceptable score of 6.5; or
an equivalent score in a recognised test*.

* Equivalent qualifications to prove an applicant’s language proficiency may be considered on a case-by-case basis;

Interviews may be conducted if deemed necessary by the Admissions Co-ordinators
