HKMU awards are well recognised locally and internationally. All of our taught programmes, whether they are conducted through face-to-face or distance learning study mode, are listed on the Qualifications Register (QR) under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) introduced by the Education Bureau (EDB) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

Our Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees are designated at QF Levels 5 and 6 respectively. According to a comparability study conducted by the EDB, the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees awarded by universities in Hong Kong are found to be comparable to those under the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
