An applicant whose previous degree does not use English as the medium of instruction (MOI) should obtain: 

• TOEFL*^#@ : minimum score of 550 (paper-based test) or 79 (internet-based test); or
• IELTS Academic*^#@ : minimum acceptable score of 6.5; or
• an equivalent score in a recognised test ^.

* Test results are accepted for up to two years from the test date until the application form submission date.

^# Test result of TOEFL iBT Home edition or IELTS Online is not accepted.

^@ Test results obtained in the same attempt are required.

^ Equivalent qualifications to prove an applicant’s language proficiency may be considered on a case-by-case basis; interviews may be conducted if deemed necessary.
