General Entrance Requirements for JUPAS Admission in 2024 and Onwards

The renamed Liberal Studies subject, which is now known as Citizenship and Social Development, of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) will be changed from being graded in five levels to being marked as “Attained” and “Not Attained” starting from 2024. In relation to this, the University has decided that the general entrance requirements for the JUPAS admission will be adjusted as follows in 2024 and onwards:

Admission Score Calculation
The admission scores are calculated by multiplying the converted points of the best 5 subjects in HKDSE by the respective subject weighting, as stipulated by the programme concerned, and then adding the products of each of the 5 subjects together.The HKDSE examination results will be converted as follows when calculating admission score:
