Access your email accounts

1. University Email (email address format: s1234567@hkmu.edu.hk)

University Email is the main form of communication between university staff, Course Coordinators, tutors and students. During the study period, every student is given a University email account equipped with an email forwarding feature. Academic and administrative information will be sent to your University email address.* Thus, it is essential that you check your University email account frequently or set up email forwarding to an email address that you check often so you will not miss important information.

*To protect students’ personal data, the University will only send emails to your University email account. This includes any responses to emails that you send from your personal email address. You are strongly advised to email the University with the University email account to protect your own data privacy. In case you have to email the University with non-University email account, you have to quote your student number in the email and the University will reply to your University email account.

2. HKMU O365 Email (email address format: s1234567@live.hkmu.edu.hk)

The O365 email account is a lifelong communication channel with the University. The email will be kept after students graduate. Other than the email, active students can also download and install the latest version of Microsoft Office to the PC/Notebook.
