The BSSc(Hons)Psychology is a 4-year full-time programme aiming to equip students with in-depth knowledge in a wide range of areas in psychology of different domains as well as the thinking skills of analysing, evaluating, and synthesizing psychological concepts and theories. It broadens the specific knowledge in mental health, psychopathology, and counselling. The programme also develops students’ scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills. In a practice perspective, it facilitates the selection of optimal treatment strategies in dealing with various psychopathologies and customized counselling techniques. Graduates can pursue careers in private and public sectors, non-government organisations, and pursue postgraduate studies in different psychology specialties.

The BSSc(Hons)Psychology currently offers two streams:
– Stream I: Psychology
– Stream II: Counselling Psychology

Applicants (Year 1 Entry) will be considered for admission to first-year studies at Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours in Psychology. Students will enter a stream after Year 1 study and follow the respective programme curriculum in Years 2 – 4.
