Introduction

This dual degree programme is jointly offered by Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration and School of Arts and Social Sciences of HKMU. Students will obtain two honours degree upon completion of the four years of study, one in Applied Psychology, and the other in Business Management.

The programme provides students with exposure to a wide spectrum of psychological and managerial perspectives during their study. Graduates would be able to integrate psychology and management concepts and theories to develop business solutions that factor in interests, behaviours and mental processes of different stakeholders.

Career Prospects

Graduates can pursue a career in psychology or people-oriented business areas such as marketing, human resource management, and community services. In addition, by completing the psychology courses in different subjects in the programme, students may apply to be a graduate member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society.

Further Studies

Opportunities are available for the graduates of this programme to pursue postgraduate studies in Hong Kong and abroad, such as Master of Business Administration degree or other master’s degrees in business- or psychology-related areas.

General Structure

During the four years of study, students will need to complete 150 credit-units of courses of which at least 24 credit-units should be taken at 3000-level and another 24 credit-units at 4000-level.
