The aim of the programme is to produce graduates who can be all-rounders in the testing and certification industry; and contribute to the development of new testing and certification methodologies. They will be able to anticipate the advancement of basic science and technology, and respond to the changing needs in any discipline of the testing and certification profession. They will also be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of a range of principles and practical skills in testing and certification profession.
Besides the normal route based on HKDSE results, this programme also provides the practical route admissions based on an assessment following the quality assurance of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism. It provides the opportunity for the students who showed their interests and talents in the testing and certification industry to join a relevant degree programme.
