The School of Science and Technology is an important training ground for science and technology professionals and a hub of programmes in the areas of Computing and Information Technology,  Engineering, Testing and Certification and  Environmental Safety and Sustainability. It offers a wide spectrum of programmes in Applied Science, Computing and Information technology, Engineering, Environmental studies, Mathematics and Statistics and Testing and Certification for undergraduates and postgraduates, aiming to impart modern scientific knowledge to students and develop their information technology skills, preparing them to play leading roles in various sectors of science and technology. In addition to fully-furnished laboratories and state-of-the-art facilities enabling students to develop hands-on skills, they also enjoy abundant practical work-study opportunities and participation in field trips and site visits in actual operational environments.
