Artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and smart robotics technologies are expected to play a significant role across different industry sectors. This programme aims to provide students with the professional skills and knowledge

in customising and retrofitting robotics, automating unmanned devices, and maintaining them for various industries. It will equip students with a comprehensive understanding of robotics and automation engineering and interdisciplinary fundamental knowledge of computer science, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechanics. It will also provide students with substantial internships and work-based learning experiences. This programme will seek accreditation by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).
