Introduction

This programme aims to develop students with academic training, analytical, technical, theoretical and practical knowledge in aspects of life sciences; and to equip students with an in-depth understanding of the theories, practices, and research methodologies in life sciences.

Career Prospects

Students will receive additional training in summer term through a series of workshops, seminars, visits, and workplace attachment with the aim to develop students’ understanding on the attributes, skill-sets needed and career opportunities in various life sciences-related sectors.

Further Studies

Graduates would be qualified for further postgraduate study (MSc, MPhil, and PhD) in life sciences, biomedical sciences, biotechnology or related areas in any tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and overseas. MPhil and PhD positions are also available in the department.
