1. Activate your HKMU student account with your student number (i.e. your application number)
2. Access MyHKMU
3. Access your email account (You may log into your email account from 16 August)
4. Student Mobile app
5. Submit photo for student ID card via MyHKMU
6. Provide your emergency contact information via MyHKMU
7. Study Matters

Application for Advanced Standing: Students with prior qualifications at QF level 4 and above may be eligible for credit transfer. See the Advanced Standing page for details.

Read the “Advice on Course Selection” via MyHKMU to note your assigned study plan
Complete New Student Survey

From 17 Aug
Check pre-assigned course enrolment on your academic profile via MyHKMU (Courses pre-assigned can be viewed at MyHKMU from the week commencing 17 August)

24 Aug – 26 Aug
Self-enrol in electives, MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) and GE courses via MyHKMU (Course offering and class timetable will be posted at the enrolment page during the week commencing 17 August) Note for new students: Year-3 entry should self-enrol courses on 24 Aug, Year-2 entry on 25 Aug, and Year-1 entry on 26 Aug

25 Aug
1. Attend the Inauguration Ceremony and Programme Induction
2. Collect student ID card

From 25 Aug
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Registration
Activate your OLE (online learning environment) account

26 Aug
Self-enroll Mental Health First Aid Course (First-year Student only)

1 Sep
Commencement of 2026 Autumn term

1 Sep – 11 Sep
Add/drop classes via MyHKMU
