The four-year Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy programme aims to equip students with the necessary theoretical and practical skill, competence and confidence to qualify as professional Physiotherapists.

Physiotherapy is an integral part of the rehabilitation process. The field is aimed squarely at developing, maintaining, and restoring maximum movement and functional ability for the patient. The physiotherapy degree taught at OUHK incorporates the concept of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) promulgated by the World Health Organisation (WHO). OUHK’s four-year physiotherapy degree is tailored for students to develop the necessary theoretical and practical skills needed to become qualified physiotherapists. With a physiotherapy degree from OUHK and after a period practising physiotherapy, you may also be able to apply to the State Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council of the UK, or sit for the licensure examinations in the USA, Canada, and Australia.
