The following documents should be submitted with your application. Original documents* will need to be presented for verification upon request by the University. Applicants graduating in 2024 may still apply for the programme. They can submit the copies of transcripts and certificates later.
* Please do not send the original documents to the University by post. The University will not bear any risk and responsibilities if the documents are lost / damaged in the course of transportation.
• For local applicants:
◦ a copy of HKID card and other identity proof (if applicable)
• For overseas applicants:
◦ a copy of passport or other identity proof
• For mainland applicants:
◦ a copy of PRC identity card and passport / exit-entry permit for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macau
• a copy of academic transcript(s), graduation certificate / certifying letter(s) / testimonial (if any)
◦ Applicants studying Associate Degree / Higher Diploma should also upload your full course enrolment records / full list of courses if you have not completed the programme
• certificate(s) with examination results
• a copy of IELTS / TOEFL / HKDSE / NCEE / IB Diploma / GCE A-level / GCE O-level / IGCSE / SAT certificate or results, or equivalent
• if any
Interview is normally required for admission via direct application. Applicants will be informed when they are being shortlisted and invited for interview. Applicants will receive the notification via email and SMS from the Admissions Team (Undergraduate) of the Registry. It is important that applicants should check their email regularly and make themselves available to attend the interview.
For some programmes, applicants may also be required to attend a written test.
Notification of results of the applications will normally be sent to successful applicants after the interview. Applicants may consider your application for admission to be unsuccessful if you do not receive any result from the University by early-September 2022.
If the applicant is given an offer, this offer will be the only offer he / she received from the University within the same academic year. The University will start considering the applicant’s application from the first programme choice until an admission offer is made or the applicant has already been considered by all the programmes have been selected. If the applicant has received an offer from any one of his / her selected programmes, the application of the programme choices at a lower priority, compared to the offered programme (if applicable), will not be further processed.

大學保留決定所提交的文件是否可接受的權利。 你或會被要求申請將正式成績單和/或考試報告直接從頒發的大學/機構寄送至HKMU。 如未能按要求提交文件,可能會導致你的入學申請被取消,且無法進行後續入學註冊手續。

獲錄取的申請人一般會於面試後收到大學的錄取通知書。如申請人在2025年9月初仍未收到大學的任何通知,可視為並未獲大學錄取。
